Real instances of patriarchy I’ve seen and faced

these are instances, whenever I face them and have a strong urge to react I omit them out here, I will keep editing this***

Dad called a female sarpanch asking for dadi ka death certificate, the conversation goes like- I know your husband, Mr ABC, he is a great friend of mine, persuading her to do the work without legality(I will come to the gram panchayat tomorrow, keep it ready- was the lingo)!

My dad is a nice man, a nice man- nourished and baked in patriarchy!
